The La Maison Boutique Hotel Deluxe has a lovely atmosphere with beautiful gardens and a complimentary breakfast that was quite delicious. While the rooms have seen better days and could use some updates, I found them comfortable overall. The big drawback was the breakfast timing, which could be improved for early risers. Overall, it’s a charming stay amidst the beauty of the Blue Mountains, though not without its flaws.

Rooms
6.0
The room was comfortable with ample space for our luggage, but it was definitely showing signs of age and wasn’t as clean as I had hoped. The bathroom cleanliness also left a bit to be desired, especially in the shower area.
Service
6.0
The service was okay, but there were times when I felt understaffed, especially during breakfast. Even with a friendly attitude, the reception was a bit slow to respond to requests.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Katoomba Township and even closer to the iconic Three Sisters. It was easy to access various attractions in the area.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was basic and primarily consisted of cereals and toast. It could definitely use some improvements, particularly in variety and availability. The timing of breakfast starting at 8 am was inconvenient for early plans.
Facilities

The hotel offered nice amenities like a spa and gardens, but the overall upkeep was lacking, with some areas needing attention.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic, being close to several attractions like Scenic World and Three Sisters, making it easy to explore the area. The room was clean and comfortable, but it did have some drawbacks like old carpet and a low shower. The service was friendly but could be more efficient. The breakfast was basic but acceptable for the price. Overall, it’s a decent value, but there are areas that need improvement.

I found the hotel to be in a great location, close to Scenic World and various attractions in the Blue Mountains. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but there were definitely some downsides like the outdated carpets and some noise issues. The breakfast could use improvement both in variety and warmth, especially on cold mornings. Overall, it's decent for the price but has room for improvement.

Rooms

The room was generally clean and comfortable, but the carpet was stained and definitely seemed dated. It was not quite what I expected from a boutique hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located near Cliff Drive and major attractions, making it easy to explore the area. It was a quiet spot which was a plus.
Dining

The breakfast was quite basic and lacked variety. I wished there were more warm options available since it felt a bit odd in a cold breakfast room.

The facilities included a nice spa that was enjoyable after a day of hiking. However, the dining area could definitely use better heating.

Our stay had its ups and downs. The rooms were clean and had a certain charm, but they felt quite cold with inadequate heating. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to Echo Point, which made exploring easy. However, the breakfast options were very limited and left much to be desired. Overall, it was a decent place for budget travelers, but it lacks some comforts.

Rooms

The rooms were clean and comfortable yet seemed to need some TLC. They had an old-world charm but felt a little musty, and the cold was noticeable despite the heaters.
Service

The service was just okay. The staff were polite but didn't offer much help beyond check-in, and our room wasn't serviced during our stay.
Location

While the facilities were basic, the cleanliness stood out. However, more updates and modern amenities would significantly improve the experience.

The hotel has potential with its charming old-world character, but it needs significant upgrades and better management. We enjoyed the cleanliness of our room and appreciated the warmth upon our arrival, but the dining experience fell short with limited options and uncomfortable temperatures. Additionally, the spa facilities were unavailable, which was disappointing. Overall, while the hotel is reasonably priced, it requires more attention to detail to truly shine.

Rooms
